Beach Combed Salvage Art with Jim Allen

Wood and stone, glass and shell. Materials we ought to know well. Gathered, treasured and shelved for some to see. Now imagination speaks to the eye that seeks …yet another gift from the sea. On their own, their beauty find but together a beauty of another kind…for all to sea.
Find simple ways to bring beach-combed treasures together with a little imagination and a little help from Jim Allen. Stone boats afloat on sea glass seas against wooden skies. Take home a story in art from the shores of north Antrim. All materials supplied but feel free to bring in a little of your own treasure to share from your walk around Bushmills and maybe use……!
Mono Printing with Rosella Watton-Austen
Mono printing allows you to produce a one off piece of art which is totally unique and is a form of printmaking which you don’t need to have any former printing skills - perhaps you could try printing a salmon!
Bead Weaving with Morag Chambers
Off Loom Beadweaving; This type of beadwork craft uses a needle and thread to weave an intricate chain or fabric of beads. Morag will teach the basics of off loom beadweaving and you will use the techniques to make your own unique pair of earrings!
All in all a complete day of discovery and enjoyment. This is a group booking for 4-12 people at £80 a head. All food and craft materials are included. This experience is available to book Wednesdays - Saturdays. Booking 72 hours or more in advance.
